I am grateful to continue spending time in East and Southeast Arlington. As I was hand-delivering signs and going door-to-door, I heard from families with multi-generational stories about Arlington. I heard our residents discuss what we need in East/Southeast Arlington. District 5 isn’t just one neighborhood. Every single one of us deserves real representation. That’s why I’m committed to keeping our neighborhoods safe, protecting our community spaces, partnering with our schools, and making sure taxpayer dollars are spent with accountability and respect for residents. I’m asking for your vote so we can move Arlington forward together. Early Voting starts in 11 days on April 20-28. Election Day is May 2.

ENDORSED! 🍔 Downtown Arlington is full of local businesses serving our community. They deserve leadership that matches their tenacity. I’m proud to have the support of Greg Gardner, owner of Grease Monkey. Through my years on the Executive Board of Downtown Arlington Management Corporation, I’ve been a part of establishing programs for our Business Owners to succeed and I know where we need to press on the gas. When I’m in office, I will do just that for us right here at home.

Right now, only 13% of our UTA graduates put down roots in Arlington after they graduate. That’s not because they don’t love it here. It’s because we haven’t built a city that fully meets them in this stage of life. ➡️ If we want to grow our economy, strengthen our neighborhoods, and build a future-ready Arlington, we have to start with the people already investing in it. Our students want: ✅ Affordable places to live ✅ Good-paying jobs ✅ Walkable spaces ✅ A real sense of nightlife and community Here’s how we do it: 1. Incentivize mixed-income housing near UTA, fast-track zoning for student-friendly development 2. Recruit and support employers aligned with UTA degrees, expand internship-to-job pipelines 3. Invest in walkability, nightlife, and small business districts near campus This isn’t complicated. It’s a choice. Residents first means building an Arlington where the next generation chooses to stay. And we’ll do just that.
Standing up for our Small Business economy is a responsibility I take seriously.

Standing up for our Small Business economy is a responsibility I take seriously. When I’m in office, we’ll make it easier for them to succeed. Arlington, our Small Businesses not only bring us financial growth, they are the champions connecting our communities. They show us we CAN dream a big dream in Arlington, TX. I am proud to have the support of the business owners behind some of our longest running Small Businesses, like Marquez Bakery. ➡️ The people building our local economy deserve representation that’s just as relentless as they are. I’m eager to continue doing that all the way to City Hall.

I am so proud to be endorsed by people who think big, consider their neighbor, and have a vision for the next 150 years of Arlington! From Dream City PAC ( @dreamcity.pac ) themselves: “Today, we are announcing something important. Not just endorsements, but we are announcing a slate. At Dream City PAC, we do not look at these races one by one. We look at how leadership works together. Because the future of Arlington isn’t decided by one person. It is shaped by a system of leaders making decisions together. Over the past few months, we have engaged in the work of listening and reflecting. We have been at kickoffs. We have been at forums. We have talked to candidates. We have analyzed surveys, messaging, and alignment. We have paid attention to who is including people and who is not. We have noticed who is running honest campaigns and who is not. And we have stayed grounded in one thing: What kind of future are we building for Arlington? Because this is bigger than one race and bigger than one election. It is about progress. It is about equity. It is about accountability. And it is about making sure our city reflects the voices and needs of the people who live here. Our hope is that in this slate, you will see candidates who represent you, your beliefs, and most importantly, your hopes for the future. This is a team. This is a vision. And this is the future we believe Arlington deserves. That’s why today, we’re proud to announce our 2026 slate of candidates.”
You tell them I’m coming… and joy’s coming with me. District 5 is clear: We deserve a strong and loud advocate, who knows our small business owners, visits our classrooms, knocks on our neighbors doors to hear their needs, and was born and raised to lift this City. Along the campaign trail, I hear the same thing: it’s time for a RESIDENTS FIRST ARLINGTON. Our neighbors are demanding change. Vote on May 2nd to bring a new era of leadership THAT PUTS YOU FIRST to Arlington City Council District 5.

The future of Arlington goes to school here. I believe strong schools and strong cities go hand in hand. City Hall’s support and partnership with AISD is vital. District 5 has one of the highest concentrations of AISD campuses in our city. That’s why I seek out voices to listen to by visiting School Board meetings, attending school events, and reaching out to principals and teachers. We listen and we act. We make a plan and we work it together. As a unified Arlington. I’m a living example of what an AISD education can do. I know our kids are our legacy. I trust them with our future. They trust us with the now. They deserve city leaders willing to show up for both. I’m excited to be on your ballot to do just that. This campaign is about collaborating and building a brighter future TOGETHER!
A mini celebration with our neighbors to commemorate putting out our first yard sign! Being born in Arlington, I grew up in this community, raised my kids in these schools, and have spent years working alongside our local businesses, our Downtown, and our community boards to make Arlington a place families are proud to call home. And that is exactly what you’re going to get! A voice for our neighborhoods. For small businesses. For residents first! Want a yard sign? Get a yard sign at BrittneyForArlington.com

I’ve been out in the community meeting neighbors across District 5 because City decisions should make life better for the people who already live here. We’re having real conversations about what matters most and honestly, the priorities are pretty consistent: Safe neighborhoods. Responsible use of taxpayer dollars. Clear and transparent governance. Those things matter to all of us who have invested our lives here. I’m grateful for every conversation with Arlington neighbors and I can’t wait to meet YOU soon, too. What’s the one thing you most want city leadership to protect or improve in our community?
Dan & Linda Dipert joined us today as we met with our neighbors and heard their concerns. All across District 5️⃣ we hear a unified voice: Our City must listen to its residents & it’s time for a new vision! I am so honored to have the support of Dan & Linda Dipert who have generously gave to our community their whole lives (and continue to do that for our neighbors in District 5️⃣)! I look forward to being a part of the new era of a Residents First Arlington ⭐️ Be a part at BrittneyForArlington.com
